Hebrew Alphabet (Resource)

Copyright/attribution: Jewish Museum London

Hebrew is the language of the Torah, the holy book of the Jewish people. Hebrew is read and written from right to left, the opposite way from English. There are no vowel letters in the Hebrew Alphabet, and this can make the Hebrew in the Torah very difficult to learn to read.

Use this resource to help you learn the letters of the Hebrew Alphabet and their equivalent English letters and sounds.
