The Nazi party, led by Adolf Hitler, came to power in Germany in 1933. The Nazi’s immediately started passing laws designed to exclude Jewish people from daily life and to restrict their livelihood. The rise of the Nazi party and their discrimination and persecution of Jewish people led to the outbreak of World War II in September 1939.
